If your idea of a good Saturday night includes polished chrome, smoked brisket, and live music, Heim Barbecue has something planned for you.
A Fort Worth Car Meet is set for Saturday, Sept. 26, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Heim Barbecue, 5333 White Settlement Road.
And this one is not reserved for show cars. Organizers are inviting everything from classics and restored rides to muscle cars, trucks, imports, newer builds, sports cars, and everyday drivers. Bring something you are proud of, park it, and spend the evening with other local car enthusiasts.
Families and kids are welcome to come walk through the cars, with barbecue, live music and drinks available throughout the evening.
No special ride required, either. If you would rather admire everyone else’s work while eating some barbecue, that works just fine.
