For Max Morgan, wearing No. 12 this season means carrying something bigger than a jersey number.
Morgan was nominated by his football teammates for the honor of wearing No. 12 in memory of Aledo teenager Brayden Martin, who died from injuries sustained in an ATV accident in Parker County in May.
The “Live Like Brayden Martin” tribute remembers Brayden for his character, work ethic, desire to win and leadership on and off the field.
As the 2026 representative, Morgan now carries that legacy onto the field, keeping Brayden’s memory and the meaning behind No. 12 alive for another season.
