BENBROOK, Texas. Barbara Jean Bolin McHenry passed away Sept. 4, 2026, following a final chapter marked by the care of family, friends and those who supported her.
McHenry remained in her Keller home with help from many friends until moving to Brookdale Assisted Living in Georgetown in October 2025.
Her family expressed particular gratitude to the Brookdale staff, who cared for McHenry and her cat, Joey, with what the family described as extraordinary love and tenderness. They also thanked the staff at Suncrest Hospice and Care Renewed caregivers for helping McHenry through her final days.
