BENBROOK, TX – The Benbrook Lady Bobcats delivered a Senior Night performance to remember, shutting out Carter-Riverside 3-0 in a dominant showing.
It was the Sydney Chavez show, as the senior standout found the back of the net twice in the first half to give Benbrook a 2-0 lead at the break. She completed the hat trick in the second half, sealing a commanding victory for the Lady Bobcats.
With the win, Benbrook improves to 17-3-1 overall and a flawless 13-0 in district play, holding onto first place as they push for a perfect district finish. They’ll look to close it out undefeated in their season finale against Dunbar on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
