A little paint, a wooden heart and a bit of Mexican folk art inspiration are coming together for the next Making It night at the Benbrook Public Library.
On Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., adults can create colorful milagrito wooden heart magnets as part of the library’s Hispanic Heritage Month celebration.
Inspired by traditional Mexican folk art, the project gives participants a chance to put their own creative spin on the decorative hearts and take their finished piece home.
The program is for ages 18 and older, and registration is required.
