Funky Town Freeze Moves Next Door.

Funky Town Freeze has moved, but Benbrook snow cone fans will not have to travel far to find it.

After wrapping up its time at The Church at Benbrook for the year, the local snow cone trailer has relocated right next door to the Shell station at 900 Winscott Road.

The drive-thru remains open, and customers using the walk-up window can park in the church lot in front of the trailer.

Current hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m., Friday from 3 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 1:30 to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 1:30 to 8:30 p.m. Funky Town Freeze is closed on Mondays.

So if you pull into the old spot looking for a snow cone, don’t worry. Your favorite flavor is only a few steps away.
