Budding scientists have a chance to dig into the world beneath their feet at the Benbrook Public Library next week.
On Tuesday, July 7, from 2 to 3 p.m., the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History will present Dino Discovery Lab: Digging into Geology for children ages 8 to 12. Participants will explore rock layers, weathering, erosion, and the rock cycle through hands-on activities, including experiments with kinetic sand.
