The Western Hills Cougars came out strong with an early goal, but that was all they could muster in a 3-1 loss to the Southwest Raiders last night.
It’s the second straight game the Cougars have fallen by a two-goal margin, adding to a rough stretch where they’ve lost three of their last four. Now sitting at 5-6-2 overall and 4-3 in district play, they hold onto third place in the standings.
The Cougars will look to turn things around this Friday at 8:00 PM when they take on Fort Worth Young Men’s Leadership Academy.
