Farmers and ranchers can now stay informed on the latest New World Screwworm detections through a tracking dashboard maintained by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The dashboard provides up-to-date information on confirmed animal cases and wild fly detections across the United States, including location, species, confirmation dates, and case status. USDA officials say they continue working with state partners on surveillance, reporting, and response efforts.
Cases are categorized as active when treatment and mitigation efforts are ongoing, and inactive once animals have recovered or appropriate containment measures have been completed.
The dashboard is intended to provide a current snapshot of detections and response activities, helping livestock producers monitor developments affecting animal health.
