Benbrook Heritage Fest is set to return on Saturday, Sept. 19, bringing a full day of family-friendly entertainment, western flair, and community tradition to the city.
The festivities begin at 10 a.m. and will feature live music, western entertainment, food vendors, hayrides, a petting zoo, and a variety of local vendors. Guests can also test their competitive spirit in several festival favorites, including the annual Hoffbrau Steak & Grill House corn-on-the-cob eating contest, a dog costume contest, and stick horse races.
The day will conclude with one of the festival’s most popular traditions: a chuckwagon dinner followed by a street dance.
Tickets for the chuckwagon dinner go on sale Aug. 3 and must be purchased in advance due to limited availability.
Visitors planning an overnight stay can also take advantage of a 10% discount at participating hotels by mentioning “Heritage Fest” when making reservations.
Businesses and organizations interested in joining the celebration still have time to secure a sponsorship or vendor space. Applications and sponsorship information are available at Benbrook Heritage Fest, though available space is limited.

For one Saturday in September, Benbrook’s western roots take center stage, offering residents and visitors alike a chance to slow down, gather together, and enjoy a tradition that continues to bring the community together year after year.
