Not every craft project has to be traditional.
This month, the Benbrook Public Library is inviting teens and adults to embrace their creative side with a unique Doll Head Cameo Craft workshop on Tuesday, June 16, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Participants ages 13 and older will create custom necklaces by transforming doll faces into vintage-style cameo pendants, then decorating them with their own creative flair. The result is a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry that blends quirky, artistic, and “creepy-cute” design.
All materials will be provided, and registration is required.
The event is part of the library’s growing lineup of hands-on programs that give residents an opportunity to try something new, meet fellow creators, and leave with a handmade project of their own.
The Benbrook Public Library is located at 1065 Mercedes Street. To register or learn more about upcoming events, visit Benbrook Public Library Events Calendar or call 817-249-6632.
Sometimes the most memorable crafts are the ones you never expected to make.
