With summer temperatures already starting to settle into North Texas, Weatherford Parks and Recreation has officially reopened the Love Street Park Splash Pad for the season.
The splash pad at Love Street Park opened Monday, May 25, giving families another place to cool off as schools let out and summer break begins.
Located at 309 Love Street in Weatherford, the park has become a popular stop for parents seeking a simple, affordable way to get kids outside during the hotter months.
For many families, splash pads mark the unofficial start of summer, where afternoons quickly turn into water fights, soaked tennis shoes, and one more excuse to stay outside a little longer.
