For anyone ready to swap spring décor for something brighter, the Benbrook Public Library has a hands-on project coming just in time for summer.
The library’s MakerSpace program will host a “Summer Wreath” craft night on Wednesday, May 27, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., giving adults a chance to create three colorful summertime ornaments designed to brighten seasonal wreaths.
All materials will be provided, and organizers say the evening is meant to be relaxed, creative, and beginner-friendly. Participants will make new decorative pieces to add a fresh summer touch to wreaths already hanging at home.
The event is open to adults ages 18 and older, and registration is required due to limited space and supplies.
Programs like these continue to give residents a chance to slow down, meet neighbors, and try something creative without bringing anything but themselves.
More library events and registration details can be found at the Benbrook Public Library Events Page.
The Benbrook Public Library is located at 1065 Mercedes St., Benbrook, TX 76126. For additional information, residents can email or call 817-249-6632.
