Benbrook Library Highlights AAPI Heritage Through Children’s Books.

A trip to the Benbrook Public Library this month could open the door to new stories, cultures, and conversations for local families.

In recognition of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the library has created a special display in the children’s area featuring books that celebrate AAPI cultures, traditions, and communities. Families can find selections designed for both independent reading and shared story time, making it easy for parents and children to learn together.

Library staff encourages visitors to look above the shelves in the children’s section to find the featured titles and discover a variety of voices and experiences represented in the collection.

For many families, it is a simple but meaningful reminder that books do more than entertain. They help children understand the world around them and the people who share it.

Residents can browse additional upcoming programs and events at the Benbrook Public Library Events Calendar.
