Music and art will take center stage this week at Benbrook Middle-High School as students prepare to showcase months of work through concerts and creative displays.
The school’s Fine Arts programs will host a series of events Monday and Tuesday featuring performances from both the high school and middle school bands, along with an AP Art showcase highlighting student artwork.
The High School Band Spring Concert is scheduled for Monday at 6 p.m. inside the BMHS auditorium, while the Middle School Band will perform Tuesday evening at 6 p.m.
Also on Monday, High School AP Art students will present their work during a gallery-style showcase in the high school library from 5 to 7 p.m.
The events give families, classmates, and community members a chance to see the creativity and preparation students have poured into their performances and artwork throughout the school year.
As the semester nears its close, the showcase offers one more opportunity for young artists and musicians to share their work with the community that has supported them along the way.
