Benbrook Kids Can Still Turn Reading Into Rewards at the Library.

BENBROOK, TX — There is still time for local kids to turn pages into something they can hold.

The Bookland Challenge at the Benbrook Public Library is ongoing, giving children ages 0 to 12 a chance to build reading habits and earn a reward along the way. The idea is simple. Sign up, log reading and activities, and finish the challenge to receive a token for the library’s book vending machine.

Families can register through Beanstack at https://www.beanstack.com/login and begin tracking progress right away. Once the challenge is complete, participants can stop by the library’s front desk to claim their prize before the May 31 deadline.

Programs like this tend to meet kids where they are. Some start strong, others pick it up as they go, but the goal stays the same. Keep reading, stay curious, and finish what you started.

Nevertheless, there is still time to join in. For many kids, it may just start with one book and end with a habit that sticks.

The Benbrook Public Library, located at 1065 Mercedes Street, continues to offer opportunities like this to make learning feel accessible and engaging for families across the community.
