Spring Events Bring Energy Back to Benbrook YMCA.

As the season shifts, the Benbrook Community Center YMCA is filling its calendar with events designed to bring families, kids, and teens together in simple, meaningful ways.

It starts on April 3 with the 3rd Annual Benbrook Bunny Trail, running from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Benbrook YMCA and Benbrook Lighted Par 3 and Range. The event blends outdoor fun with community connection, offering booths, activities, music, bounce houses, and visits with the Easter Bunny. For details, contact Chaz Jackson at chazeray.jackson@ymcafw.org.

A few days later, on April 18, the YMCA hosts its 34th Annual Healthy Kids Day. The free event focuses on helping families stay active and engaged as summer approaches, with activities and prizes planned throughout the day. Local businesses interested in participating can reach out to Sarah Dalmas at sdalmas@ymcafw.org.

For middle school students, the YMCA is also creating a consistent place to connect. Middle School Madness meets every other Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., offering games, snacks, and a space to hang out. The cost is $11 for members and $16 for nonmembers, with registration available at the front desk.

Together, these events reflect a simple goal. Give the community places to gather, stay active, and enjoy the season together.
