Benbrook City Council to Address Finances and Street Improvements Thursday Night.

BENBROOK, TX — Benbrook residents will have an opportunity to stay informed and engaged as the City Council meets Thursday, March 19, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall on Winscott Road.

The evening will begin with standard proceedings, including the invocation, pledge, and a public comment period, during which residents can share input on agenda items.

Much of the meeting will focus on the city’s financial health and infrastructure. Council members will review the latest finance report through February, along with the city’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the 2025 fiscal year. These updates offer a snapshot of how Benbrook is managing growth, revenue, and long-term planning.

Street maintenance will also take center stage. The council is expected to consider agreements with Tarrant County and contractors for the upcoming street improvement program, along with purchases of materials such as asphalt and city vehicles to support ongoing operations.

Residents will also have time to speak during informal comments later in the meeting, providing another opportunity to raise concerns or highlight community needs.

For those wanting to stay connected to decisions shaping roads, spending, and city services, Thursday night’s meeting is a practical way to see local government in action.
