The Sour Boule quietly opened its doors on Tuesday, a day it is usually closed, to offer something simple but meaningful during the winter weather. With a very limited menu and hot coffee brewing, the team chose to show up for the community rather than operate business as usual.
The goal was not sales. It was warmth, a safe place to sit, and a familiar spot for anyone already out or in need of a break from the cold. No employees were required to come in, and neighbors are encouraged to stay home if they are safe to do so. This was about being present when it counts.
The Sour Boule is offering coffee, a warm space, and curbside service for online orders. The shop is located at 3801 Southwest Boulevard in Fort Worth. Curbside service begins at 6:30 a.m., with the lobby open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.
