Lady Cougars Drop District Basketball Game, Prepare for Benbrook Rematch.

The Western Hills Lady Cougars faced a tough night in district play Thursday, January 22, falling to the Eastern Hills Lady Highlanders by a score of 62 to 3.

The loss moves Western Hills to 2-17 overall, 1-6 in district, placing the Lady Cougars sixth in the standings and extending a two game skid. It was another challenging test in a season focused on growth and resilience.

Next up is a familiar crosstown matchup. The Lady Cougars return to the court Tuesday, January 27 at 7:30 pm against the Benbrook Lady Bobcats. The teams last met earlier this season, when Benbrook took a 45-23 win.

Tuesday night offers a chance to reset, compete, and measure progress against a district rival.
