With clear skies overhead and a steady breeze rolling across the pitch, the Benbrook Bobcat Varsity Boys Soccer team delivered an energetic performance Thursday afternoon.
Playing well on both sides of the ball, the Bobcats earned a 4–2 win over Kennedale High School at the Benbrook Middle-High School soccer field. The victory capped a strong showing for the Bobcats in the FWISD Showcase and gave the home crowd plenty to cheer about.
The win moves Benbrook to 3–4 on the season as the team continues to find its rhythm. The Bobcats are back in action tomorrow when they take on Azle High School at 2:40 pm.
