Bobcat Wrestlers Shine at FWISD City Championships.

BENBROOK, TX — It was a banner weekend on the mats at Benbrook Middle High School as the Bobcats hosted the FWISD City Wrestling Championships, welcoming more than 25 schools from across the district for a full slate of competition.

Benbrook’s girls’ team turned in an impressive showing, finishing second overall. Bailey Lott led the way with a first-place finish, while Brileigh Satterwhite, Mya Fenner, Zoe Clark, and Kiley West each earned second place. Judith Jimenez and Katie Lloyd added strong third-place finishes to round out the team effort.

The boys’ team continued a dominant run, capturing the FWISD City Championship for the fourth straight year. Erik Morrison, Mac Shafer, and Desmond Chambers all claimed first place in their weight classes. Ty Nelson, Gavin Henderson, and Phillip McFadden followed with second-place finishes, while Christian Cannon secured third.

Between the depth of talent and steady coaching, the Bobcats once again showed why they are a force in district wrestling. It was a weekend full of grit, growth, and well-earned celebration for athletes and coaches alike.
