Cougar Corner Feeds More Than Students.

At Western Hills High School, Cougar Corner is more than shelves stocked with food. It is a safe place where students know they will be welcomed, mentored, and cared for.

In the past year alone, the pantry distributed more than 18,000 meals, ensuring no student had to face class on an empty stomach. Every day, teens stop by for a snack and leave with something moreโ€”encouragement and community, thanks to the leadership of Mrs. Patty Pressley and her team of volunteers.

Programs like Cougar Corner are made possible through support from LVTRise and generous donors across North Texas. As part of this yearโ€™s North Texas Giving Day, the campaign has already raised $3,805 toward a $5,000 goal, but thereโ€™s still time to help push it across the finish line.

Donations can be made until 11:59 p.m. on September 18 at this link. Even the smallest contribution makes a lasting impact, proving to students that their community believes in them.
