A crash late Thursday night near the intersection of Oakmont Boulevard and Bryant Irvin Road quickly turned into a police pursuit after one driver tried to flee the scene.
Fort Worth officers responded around July 17 and tracked down the suspect and their vehicle not long after.
The individual is now being held on DUI charges. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. However, early chatter suggested a child in a car seat may have been ejected during the crash. Fort Worth PD has not confirmed that detail as of yet.
The suspect’s identity has not been released, but the investigation is ongoing. Benbrook-area drivers are reminded to stay alert and safe, especially along major roadways where incidents like this can unfold quickly.
